C limate change is adversely affecting the entire world; but a developing country like Ghana is especially susceptible to its challenges due to the country’s geography, high dependence on agriculture sector and greater incidence of poverty. The consequences of climate change can exacerbate the difficulties for the country, with more adverse effects on the disadvantaged sections of the population.

While our analysis in the domain of adaptation strategies pays special attention to the gender implications of climate change risks, we assess the policy priorities for promoting low carbon development pathways in sectors like energy and transport in the domain of mitigation strategies.
